HikeDesert uses Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This collects aggregate traffic data — pages visited, general geographic region, device type — but does not identify individual visitors.

We do not use Meta Pixel or any Facebook/Instagram tracking tools.

We do not sell data to third parties.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions. Affiliate links (Amazon, B&H, REI) may set their own cookies when you click through to their sites — those are governed by their respective privacy policies.
